In some ways starting a podcast is the “thinking about trying standup” of the 21st century, but to me there’s more to it because podcasts aren’t tied to many of the previous power structures of media. It can be about anything, it can cross over with anything, it can be about nothing. All you need is a mic and a host and you’re in business. It’s truly media for the people by the people in ways that no other form of media can be. I’m very excited to be a part of this, I’m excited to work with folks from all over the planet to learn and share this experience together.
