I am originally from California but presently living in Tucson, AZ.  I work in sales and am studying to become a high school English teacher.  After three years of recording Geek Grills, podcasting has become a passion of mine.  I have always enjoyed listening to podcasts and found them helpful when I was a newly appointed sales manager.  I have many nerdy hobbies (video games, tapbletop rpg’s, larp, and board games), so it isn’t surprising that I started regularly listening to podcasts about my favorite geeky topics.  I took the advice of a friend to just get started and “record a damn podcast.”  Since then I haven’t looked back.  We have recorded episodes where I have had the chance to interview some of my favorite podcast personalities and I have so much more in mind.  I am hoping this competition will help me take my podcasting to the next level.
